Toronto, April 14, 2025 – Since launching in 2018, AMIDA 3D has been making steady progress and raised capital, working toward its first market offering. With significant achievements over the last four years, AMIDA expects to print its first real-world application within the next year.

2021: University of Waterloo completes AMIDA Research – 3D Wall Printing and Robotic design and prototyping of a large-scale robot including shop drawings for robotic head.
2023: AMIDA 3D secures funding and welcomes new Board Director Noorudin Jiwani.
AMIDA embarks on designing and manufacturing of large scale proprietary autonomous robotic 3D platform.
2024: Amida executes Mitacs sponsored research agreement with University of Waterloo for completion in fall 2025.
US Patent for “Method and System for mobile Reconfigurable Robot for a Large Workspace” granted to University of Waterloo.
AMIDA holds exclusive licence. Manufacturing of Proprietary autonomous robotic platform completed.
2025: AMIDA partners with Gilberts LLP and begins IP and Patent filing.
Scaled down housing solution is extruded and completed.
Conceptional architectural drawings and floor plans for housing solutions completed.
Industry standards testing of extruded structures and materials underway.
