Toronto, July 31, 2020 – AMIDA 3D, a company pioneering the development of 3D printing for concrete structures, today announced the appointment of Robert J. (“RJ”) Falconi to the Board of Directors.

RJ Falconi is currently Managing Director of RayleeValleyGroup that provides clients and Boards with guidance and advice in various areas of the law and public policy, product safety, government relations, and corporate governance.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to share my extensive knowledge and experience in engineering, construction and product safety and standards to further the growth and development of AMIDA 3D as a member of its board” said RJ Falconi.
In January 2020, Mr. Falconi was appointed a Commissioner to the Board of Commissioners of the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission via an Order-in-Council. In January 2019, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and in May 2019, he was further appointed as Chair of the Board. In April 2019, he was also appointed to the Board of Directors of Tarion Warranty Corporation. Previously a member of the national board for Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Inc. (2009-2019) but currently a member of CME’s Ontario Advisory Board. Previously a member of the board of the US‐based Electrical Safety Foundation International, Inc.
Mr. Falconi was formerly EVP, Chief Legal & Government Affairs Officer, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Canadian Standards Association. Previously a VP, General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary for Parsons Corporation, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm, and Legal Counsel at Citibank Canada. Mr. Falconi has a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, an LL.B. (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School, and is certified as a Rotman School Institute‐Certified Director (ICD.D).
